Collecting What You Are Owed
If you use a credit application or contract in your business, it is more important than ever before to have your customers identify their current place of business or employer, social security number, driver license number and date of birth so when they move without a forwarding address, we can still locate them. We can increase the amount of your recovery if your signed agreements include language that allows a fixed collection charge or fee to be added to the balance as soon as the delinquent account is sent to us for collection. I encourage you to add the following paragraph to your signed agreements immediately:

In the event that your unpaid balance is sent to our attorney for collection, you agree to pay a liquidated attorney fee of $225 plus any additional court costs or attorney fees that may be assessed by the court.
